June 13, KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA (FRI) – The Nyana Yatra Indian Cultural Society of Masterskill College organized a major event which took place in the college auditorium on Friday 13th June 2008. Approximately 200 students came for this amusing and thought provoking presentation. Two speakers from VOICE Academy were invited to present to a vastly intellectual crowd. Dr K. Sinivasagan, a senior dental surgeon and also the Chairperson for VOICE Malaysia Academy presented “The Hidden Glories of India”, while Prabhu Murugesu, a Mechanical Engineering (Hons.) undergraduate from Universiti Tenaga Nasional presented “The Science of The Vedas”.

Dr K. Sinivasagan spoke for the first 45 minutes explaining the lost treasure and heritage of Mother India. The explanations were given based on scientific proofs quoted from various scriptures such as Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. To emphasise important points, real-life examples were given. This made the talk highly capturing and interesting.

The second speaker, Prabhu Murugesu spoke for 30 minutes, introducing this subject matter to the students in a simplified manner for their understanding. The Science of the Body, Soul, Mind, Karma, Universe as stated in the Vedas were explored briefly and were explained alongside with current scientific proofs and facts.

In conclusion, both the talks successfully stirred the inquisitiveness of the students. Due to the overwhelming response, Dr. Muniandy, the senior advisor of Masterskill gave a highly positive feedback and requested Voice Academy to hold bimonthly Bhagavad Gita sessions at the college.

The talk was successfully arranged by Mdm. Asha, a senior lecturer from Masterskill and also by Mr.Chandrasegaran, 2nd Semester Physiotherapy student from the college.
