March 11, KUALA LUMPUR (TUE) – Another mesmerizing and informative talk on glories of Lord Shiva was delivered by H.G.Vishnu Caitanya dasa. It was specially requested by “UNICS” the Hindu society of University Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), in conjunction of Shiva rathri festival. The much needed information of Lord Shiva has definitely made the students revered the Lord as a great personality. Going further as explained by His Grace, Lord Shiva is incharge for the mode of ignorance, who is the destructive source for the whole creation. The glorification of Lord Shiva is also found in the vedas and puranas such as Srimad Bhagavatam, Shiva Puranam and so forth.

Bridging the gap between the two doctrines, i.e.  Shaivism and Vaishnavism, H.G. Vishnu Caitanya dasa’s methodology was liked by everyone who attended the session. Carefully presenting the points about the greatness of Lord Shiva, H.G. Vishu Caitanya dasa once again emerged as a contemporary speaker which left the crowd mind boggling.

About 50 students attended the talk including 2 lecturers from UNITEN. On behalf of VOICE of UNI, we would like to thank Bhakta Hemalan and UNICS for the opportunity.

To, Vishnu caitanya prabhu. u are giving a good class. but are u giving class as how Srila Prabhupad wanted??did Srila Prabhupad asked us to sing cinema songs in order to attract the crowd???We had listed and watched many of Srila Prabhupad’s lectures…have we seen him singing cinima song??if he wanted to, he may sing any popular rock song in order to attract the westerns over there. But he did not…so why, we, as his representative should do that????I understand that u will say that u will spiritualise everything but is this Srila Prabhupad want???sorry if i had hurt u, but there should be someone to point ur mistake for ur own and society’s benefit. Hare krishna.

    Subject: Ways of preaching

    Dear Sivan,
With regards to your question in our website, there are many ways of preaching. You just got to use innovativeness. Srila Prabhupada asked George Harrison to use his talents to let the whole world to know about Krishna. And he used his singing talents. Today every temple in ISKCON hears to the “Govinda” song with the music written by George during the morning arati.

Our only motive is to spread Krishna Consciousness to every town and village and get all souls back to God. And we are using our talents and innovativeness as Srila Prabhupada directed.

    Hope you find this useful.

    Hare Krsna

    Dear Sivan pr….

Your actually right on the spot…we do not need cinema songs to preach KC………however Jeyanthy mataji was kind enough to shelter me…..

Thank you for pointing out…..however i am waiting for the day the dawn of purity will manifest in me and i will cease this mundane approach .

When this happens i will seek yr feet to take blessings……and you will be the first.

Pls i beg you to continue listening to Srila Prabhupadas lectures as i too became attracted to KC via His lectures and books with one request pls also engage in preaching this message to others.

Thank you for yr sincere comment

    Visnu Caitanya dasa
