More Bhagavad-Gita Workshops

16 FEB, KUALA LUMPUR (SAT) - The 2nd and 3rd session of the 6-session Bhagavad Gita workshop which was held simultaneously, was participated participated by 32 undergraduates from various universities. Both the events took place in two lecture rooms in Sri Jagannatha Mandir, Kuala Lumpur which started at 6.30pm and ended at 9.00pm. HG Visnu Caitanya dasa, who is in handling the first session with 16 participants approached it in a different manner. In his session, Bhakta Hemalan Nambiar was asked to give a short presentation on the “Application of Bhagavad-Gita”. Overwhelmed with Bhakta Hemalan’s presentation, Vishnu prabhu mentioned that this will be “on the spot training” for the participants of the first batch comprising of 16 students.
HG Rasika Murari dasa conducted the second session with also 16 participants. Most of the participants of the second batch were happy with Rasika prabhu’s approach and looking forward for a similar session next month.
A total of 32 participants from 6 higher learning Institutions comprising, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Multimedia University (MMU), Masterskill College, Nirvana College, Tunku Abdul Rahman Collage (TAR), Sedaya College got together for this event. The workshop ended with sumptuous prasadam. Both events saw a decline in participation of students because of many of the universities were having various internal programs in their respective universities and colleges which demand full participation of the students.
Next Bhagavad-gita workshop will be held on the 3rd week of March.
